Wash your Voksi in the freezer!
Voksi Classic consists of two parts – a cover and a duvet, which should be washed separately. The outer cover can be washed at 60 degrees. Do not use a detergent that contains bleach and do not soak or wash outer covers using a colour detergent. The covers could fade somewhat when washed because they have been dyed using environmentally friendly materials.
For easy cleaning of wool duvets, these can be put in the freezer for a couple of hours in a sealed plastic bag and then vacuum cleaned and hung out to air. If a duvet is slightly dirty it can be washed on the wool programme using a neutral detergent and a short spin cycle. Duvets should never be tumble dried. If a duvet is very dirty, it should be washed in a washing machine using cold water and a small amount of ammonia. It should also be rinsed in cold water and any changes in temperature should be avoided. If your washing machine does not have a cold-water programme, use the bath or a hand shower. A short spin cycle can then be used, but never a tumble drier.
Summer duvets can be washed at 40 degree or be dry cleaned. They should not be bleached.
