Take a closer look at the new temperature guide when browsing our wide range of footmuffs and sleepings bags, designed to keep your little one warm and cosy over the cold months.
This is how we tested the sleeping bags:
As there is no standard for sleeping bags for children, it is challenging to state specific temperatures. We have tested all of our sleeping bags for insulation, which shows how well the bags hold in the heat. Based on these results, we have created a scale that shows which bags are suitable for the different types of winter, and this is the basis of the temperature guide. The temperature guide from Voksi is meant to be a tool for separating the characteristics of the individual sleeping bags from each other.
What clothes should your baby wear in the sleeping bag?
Temperature and wind strength vary widely during the winter, and there will be major differences in what the child should wear in clothing. By regulating the child’s clothing, one can therefore use the sleeping bag through several seasons. It is very individual how warm the child is, and therefore the attire should also vary for the individual child. To check if the baby is properly dressed, you should feel in the neck whether they are too hot or cold. Woolen clothes regulate the heat, and we recommend using wool material most of the year.
